Audi A5L to be launched: at Guangzhou Auto Show

According to Audi A5 L, which is the successor to the current A4L. It will become the first model equipped with Huawei’s intelligent driving solution and will be sold as an imported model, including the A5 Avant wagon, S5 sedan, S5 Avant wagon, and other family models. It is reported that the new car is expected to debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show this year and go on the market in mid-2025.
As the successor model of Audi A4L, the domestically produced Audi A5L will continue to be lengthened to adapt to the domestic automobile market. In terms of appearance, the domestically produced Audi A5L may be highly consistent with the overseas version. The front face still maintains Audi’s consistent family design style, adopting a “hexagonal” grille design with a honeycomb pattern inside. The front headlight group is still a long strip design, and the internal LED light strip is also sharper.

On the side of the body, the domestically produced Audi A5L will be more slender due to its lengthening and is expected to adopt a semi-hidden door handle design. The rear part is expected to adopt the same through-type taillight design as the overseas version, and the rear shape has a clear sense of hierarchy. The overall rear end will have a stronger sense of sportiness and technology than the previous generation A4L model.

In terms of power, the specific power parameters of the domestically produced Audi A5L have not yet been announced. It is expected to continue to be equipped with a 2.0T engine and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, but it is predicted that there may be some improvements in the specific tuning. In addition, in terms of intelligent driving, the domestically produced Audi A5L may be equipped with an intelligent driving assistance system from Huawei.

It is worth mentioning that many new Audi models will also cooperate with Huawei. For example, the Audi Q6 L e-tron, the first domestically produced electric model on the Audi PPE platform, will also be equipped with Huawei’s intelligent driving system.
