Hyundai Custo model will be officially launched in August
Hyundai recently released the official pictures of the 2024 Custo and announced that the new car will be officially launched in August. The new Custo has 11 details upgraded. The current turn signal position is designed as a fish scale chrome decorative net, the high-end front windshield and the main and co-driver seats have double-layer soundproof glass and are equipped with 18-inch close-spoke wheels. In addition, the new car provides two power options, 1.5T and 2.0T, and the entire series is equipped with an 8AT gearbox.
In terms of appearance, judging from the official pictures, the new car will continue to adopt Hyundai’s family design, with a front grille that resembles a wedge-shaped element distribution with gemstone lines. Unlike the current model, the Kustu adds hidden daytime running lights and smart welcome lights, which blend into the grille when off and look like unfolded “eagle wings” when lit, making the front face of the car more dynamic.
The sharp waistline on the side of the body, the short front overhang, and the long wheelbase design make the overall body proportions more coordinated. At the same time, the Kustu adopts a two-color roof design, with a black roof, exterior mirrors, and black tailgate trim, which matches the different color bodies and enhances the visual effect. In addition, the new car is also equipped with 18-inch spoke wheels.
In terms of interior, the new car is equipped with a 10.4-inch central control screen, a D-shaped steering wheel, an SBW push-button electronic shift, and increased legroom and center console space utilization. The instrument panel trim is decorated with metal and oak grains, giving it a high-end feel.
In terms of space, the new car is still equipped with double-sided electric sliding doors and zero-gravity seats in the back row. The second row of seats can be folded down and the third row of seats can be laid flat to expand the storage space.
In terms of power, the new car offers two power options: 1.5T and 2.0T, and the entire series is equipped with an 8AT gearbox. It is equipped with Baidu’s intelligent network connection 3.0 system, which can pre-install common apps such as Music, and Maps. The new car is equipped with 24 ADAS configurations, which can realize functions such as navigation intelligent cruise, lane centering, and forward collision assistance. The specific configuration of the new car has not yet been announced. According to Hyundai, the production preparations for the 24-model Kusto have been completed and it will be launched in August.
