New Cadillac XT5 with upgraded size and interior

Cadillac’s best-selling car, the Cadillac XT5, has finally ushered in a new generation. The new car will adopt a new exterior design, and the site has been fully upgraded. The interior also adopts Cadillac’s latest yacht interior design. The new car may be official.
In terms of appearance, the new car adopts Cadillac’s new family design language. The large-size smoked black shield grille is more sporty overall. The chrome trim on the top is integrated with the “squinting” running lights to form a through-type light strip. The lighting group below adopts Cadillac’s classic vertical layout, with a dot matrix LED light source inside, which is very similar to the new CT6 and CT5. The simple waistline on the side of the body and the slightly raised wheel eyebrow lines highlight the sporty attributes of the vehicle. At the rear, the slender taillight design and the dual exhaust layout on both sides further enhance the vehicle’s layering.

Compared with the current model, the new XT5 is 75mm longer, 54mm wider, and 12mm taller, with a length, width, and height of 4888/1957/1694mm and a wheelbase of 2863mm. The overall size increase makes the vehicle look larger visually. The front and rear track of the new car have been increased to 1687/1683mm, which not only improves driving stability but also increases the internal lateral space.

The interior design of the new XT5 is inspired by luxury yachts and adopts a minimalist style. The co-pilot area of the dashboard has been further optimized and has a stronger sense of continuity and embracing. The screen of the new car has been upgraded from the original 8 inches to a 33-inch 9K curved screen, which has a full technological atmosphere; the shifting mode has been adjusted to a hand-held gear, and the storage space in the central armrest area has been significantly improved, realizing elegant operation without leaving the steering wheel. The new XT5 is equipped with 126-color ambient lights for the first time, creating a unique sense of ceremony and a luxurious atmosphere.

In terms of space practicality, due to the increase in overall size, the trunk volume of the new XT5 has been upgraded from 584L to 653L, which can easily accommodate 4 28-inch suitcases, meeting the diverse travel needs of modern families and can be called the “loading king”.

In terms of power, the new XT5 will be equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged four-cylinder engine codenamed LXH, with a maximum power of 169 kilowatts, and will provide two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions for consumers to choose from. We believe that this new XT5 will continue the upward momentum of the Cadillac brand and achieve better results in the luxury mid-size SUV market. We will continue to report more information.
