The 2025 Song PLUS EV is officially launched

BYD officials that the 2025 Song PLUS EV was officially launched, with a total of three configuration models: 520KM Luxury, 520KM Premium, and 605KM Flagship. As a facelift model, the new car has been upgraded in appearance, intelligence, and configuration, and more than 16 hard-core technologies are standard across the board. In addition, multiple car purchase rights have been introduced, including: from now until September 30, users who place orders can enjoy 0 interest, 0 down payment, high replacement subsidies, and other generous benefits.
In terms of appearance, the new car is basically the same as the current model. It is built based on BYD’s marine aesthetic design concept. The front face is a closed style, showing a strong sense of sportiness as a whole. There are horizontal decorative pieces on both sides of the front surround, and a silver trapezoidal guard plate is added below. In addition, 19-inch aluminum alloy low-drag wheels are newly added, and the logo on the rear of the car is changed from “BUILD YOUR DREAMS” to “BYD”, and it supports luminescence, making the overall recognition higher. In terms of size, the length, width, and height are still 4785/1890/1660 mm, and the wheelbase is 2765 mm.

In terms of interior, the new car offers a new Xuantian color + gravel beige color scheme. The overall layout is consistent with the current Honor version. Depending on the model, it is equipped with a 12.8-inch or 15.6-inch adaptive floating central control screen, and the entire series will be equipped with a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel as standard. The 2025 Song PLUS EV will use the advanced version of the smart cockpit – DiLink 100, supporting 5G network, 3D car control, full-scenario intelligent voice, and map/wallpaper dual desktops.

In terms of configuration, the 2025 Song PLUS EV has added 50-watt mobile phone wireless charging, steering wheel heating, on-board ETC, and other configurations, and the entire series is equipped with 360-degree panoramic images, mobile phone NFC car keys, on-board driving recorder, driver’s electric seat adjustment, electric tailgate, tire pressure monitoring, wide temperature range heat pump air conditioning, panoramic sunroof, etc.

It is worth mentioning that the new car also has more than ten DiPilot intelligent driving assistance functions, including intelligent cruise control (ICC), lane departure assist (LDA), predictive collision warning (FCW) & automatic emergency braking (AEB), rear cross-traffic braking (RCTB), etc.

In terms of power, the new car will provide a 150kW drive motor and 160kW drive motor for selection according to different configurations, with peak torque of 310Nm and 330Nm respectively. In terms of batteries, there are also two types, 71.8kWh and 87.04kWh, corresponding to CLTC’s pure electric range of 520km and 605km. In addition, all models will be equipped with a VTOL external discharge function.
