The new BMW X3 long-wheelbase version

Recently obtained the configuration information of the long-wheelbase version of the new BMW X3, a mid-size SUV under Brilliance BMW, from relevant channels. The new car has previously completed the declaration with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and will be officially unveiled, which will open in August. As a replacement model, the new car has undergone a comprehensive innovation in appearance and interior, and for the first time adopts an extended wheelbase design, which is 110 mm longer than the standard wheelbase version, reaching 2975 mm.
In terms of appearance, the new car basically continues the design concept of the overseas version. The front face adopts the split BMW ring-shaped grille for the first time, which is larger than the previous generation. The redesigned double L-shaped angel eye headlights adopt an integrated design of high and low beams, and the light source extends outward step by step, further widening the visual width of the front face.

In addition, the new X3 long-wheelbase version will be available with five free optional metallic paints, including mineral white, carbon black, extreme blue, Brooklyn gray, and skyscraper gray. There will also be a personalized matte pure gray as a paid option.

From the side, the new car adopts a newly designed side profile, with a shoulder line that has a clear upward trend, and with the raised front and rear wheel eyebrows and five-spoke wheel shape, it is full of sportiness. According to the information reported by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology last week, the new X3 long-wheelbase version has a total of 5 wheel hubs – 21 inches, 20 inches, and 19 inches are available. And for the first time, M high-performance calipers (blue) are added.

The rear part of the car adopts a simple design style. The new arrow-feather taillights are integrated with the rear of the car. The double L-shaped light strips form a powerful “X” shape. The roof is equipped with a spoiler and a diffuser at the bottom, which makes the overall look dynamic.

In terms of size, the length and width of the new BMW X3 long wheelbase version are 4865 mm and 1920 mm respectively, which is 110 mm longer than the standard wheelbase version to 2975 mm, which is consistent with the BMW X5 standard wheelbase version.

In terms of interior, it adopts a dual-screen layout (12.3-inch digital instrument panel + 14.9-inch central touch screen), equipped with BMW’s 9th-generation operating system, supporting QuickSelect (quick selection), voice control, and other functions. The surrounding interactive light strip creates a simple, suspended, and technological cockpit atmosphere. In addition, Titan Gold trims that are not available overseas will also be provided.

As for the seats, three colors will be available, all of which are two-tone and made of Veganza leather. Unlike the overseas version, the rear space of the new X3 long-wheelbase version is not only longer, but also has a different seat style, with comfortable headrests and silver seat belts. It is worth mentioning that the new car will also support the proportion of the rear seats folding down.

In addition, it is equipped with a panoramic star track skylight, which provides the driver and passengers with a wider view of the sky and a more spacious sense of space. At the same time, the color of the star track skylight can also change according to different driving theme modes (My Modes), creating a refined and luxurious atmosphere and an impressive luxury experience.
